Last day for me for just over a week as No1 is on half term forcing me to take time off.

Today i will be mailnly avoiding the weak ill people around me, but you know i'll get it as off 18:30 tonight.

Hopefully the cassette will turn up up today as its coming to work, and i can get a few night rides in over the next few days?

Right off to do some work and drink more coffees

  • Morning all, not long got up. Yesterday was a very stressful day, but I pumped out more than enough work, so I can have a bit of a breather today, thank goodness. Relaxing is in order now.

Thanks to senior management I'm currently playing Bogis, Bunce and Bean to a client who's a canny old fox. Will have to change this round as it's doing my nut.

In a fit of feeling miserable last night I ordered a new helmet, thank god for the extra 10% off day at CRC yesterday.
Today is work, but the AOC is off sick so it should be a breeze.
Pop for a cuppa with some people I haven't met yet later, and then home for more trawling the net for men/stuff to buy.

And I need to decide whether to bake cupcakes on Sunday, or perhaps venture to Cannock (via the Specialized store in Brum)... or do both....

    2 things
1, The french wont win because they'll surrender as soon as the whistle blows,
2, make the most of this weekend as when your married with kids, weekends away in hotels which should be used for naughty activity's are used for peace quiet and sleeping

    Mornin' All,

The trouble n strife is going out so I''m moring for a ride round the woods this morning - so far so good. Then I think I'll mount my helmet light on the helmet to check it all stays together. After that I'm starting some research on skiing holidays seeing as the weather has turned brass monkeys - any excuse really :)

    Morning spunkbubbles

Things are gathering pace now. Contract signed, found a tennant for my luxurious Wolverhampton Villa and am off house hunting in Cardiff next week.

Today however is more work, followed by sleep methinks. Oh and I shall also be eating the cupcakes I baked last night and may even bake some more later

    g'day possums...

On best behaviour as waiting for customer visit, poncing around tidying up etc etc, got my singlespeed tensioner in the post today, so I may leave it on the desk as a talking point to steer the conversation away from dreary work related issues...

    Morning fweaks

Just got back home, had an interesting day yesterday. Was in a car crash on the A2-M25N slip road, not cool, could have been very nasty but we all came away without a scratch.

Lectures today, I'm late already. Got a dissection later, thankfully I'm not hungover this week, won't need to leave half way through to avoid emptying the contents of my stomach into a dogs insides.

  • Greeting Maggots,

So, today is a day of fail, my Internet connection is quirky and slow. No idea why though, I've rebooted the BT router a few times, but it just sucks.
Ping times aren't bad, it claims I'm running at 8Mb/s, but all video and picture content takes forever to load. Nothing dramatic happening on the firewalled ports, so I can only attribute this failure to something at the exchange.

Other than that, a day of working from home, so win in some circumstances.
Winter is definitely en route, it's been getting colder over this week.

I watched the two last instalments of the Harry Potter series last night, as the the Deathly Hallows 1 & 2.
I was amazed at how many gingers appear in this movie. Perhaps the producers are promoting ginger awareness or something? Weird..
  • Afternoon people! I should of posted this morning as i was up at 0700 on my Day off to head to The Hospital with My Aunt and Grandpa. Brought back terrible memories of when I had my man pork Violated during a Cystoscopy

Got my Grandpa sorted and then we went for a Coffee and bacon barms :)

Got home and found my QR seat clam had arrived from Merlin. Excellent and speedy service as usual from the lads up the road. Looking at A SLX twin ring and Bash guard on the internet, but Credit card and the missus says no :(

May go for a ride round the local woods in 20 mins or i can bag it off do a night ride tonight.

Thanks Foxc_uk, sure I will on this amount of drugs, Angry Bird, glad it was nothing too serious.

Now waiting for the gas man, then Tesco delivery. In the meantime, has anyone seen the following:

Smelly candles, the office is ponging a bit
A desk tidy to put al the pens in that seem to have bred overnight.
The tribe of pygmies that I'm sure moved in the spare room earlier this month.

    Answers on a postcard please...

    Love n hugs

breakfast consisted of massive bowl of cornflakes and a whole battenburg cake...

    work is uber slow today...

I also decided this morning that I probably won't be riding the bike until next year (with the exception of away trips)... (I shall just look it at every week and maybe roll it around the kitchen)

I despair at the stupidity of some people.

If you're going to leave your job because you think working as a self employed gardener during the winter will bring in a decent income, and then realise that
    a. Cash in hand jobs pay less
    b. Everything stops growing in the winter
    c. Winter is cold.
Don't walk into my office and ask if your job's still available.

Nope, just haven't really taken a break from riding for about 2 years (I've normally only done so because the bike was unrideable etc) (took it for a spin last week))

Oh and I CBA at the mo.
