So guys i keep looking at the Specialized stumpjumper bikes but also keep looking at the Boardman FS pro and it looks great value for money. So guys is the boardman a good value full suss for the price and would it cope with all trail centres and the odd enduro event?

In a word, yes (except the big jumps and drops). One of the best bikes of its type for the cash.0

When you say not the big jumps and drops how big we talking0

Well any jump landed on the downslope smoothly will be fine. But I wouldn't want to do regular to-flat drops over two or three feet.
Get it wrong though, and won't fare as well as a tougher machine.0 -
I am so confused as what to do really, as the FS pro is great value etc but then you have the spec stumpjumper fsr comp 2012 at £2300 but the 2011 model selling at £1500. Is the 2011 model a tougher machine than the boardman.0

The Stumpy is designed for a little harder riding, yes.
Why not look at the Voodoos if value is key?0 -
value is not the be all and end all but i need to draw a bloody line at some point to many to choose from lol. I am thinking then that maybe the spec 2011 would fit the bill and allow me to upgrade the spec in the future. I had set a budget of around £2300 but if dont have to spend it i wont thats why the 2011 model spec is so appealing.0
