Missed the perfect commute !

Last night I missed the perfect commute home !! Having been forced to take the car to work for the first time in months,I left work at 5PM and took an hour and a half to cover the 4 miles home !!!! Most of that time I was stationary and gazing out of the window dreaming of carving down the outside of the massive queue of traffic that stretched out ahead . It was a lovely sunny evening too,one of those crisp autumn nights that make cycling a pleasure.

I am still annoyed this morning that I missed out and am hoping for grid lock on the way home tonight so I can get my revenge on the cycling gods !!

    The Fairy has been hassling me a lot these last few weeks,think I need winter tyres !

    I honestly did think of parking up and walking but I was in the wifes precious Peugeot (crap) and she wouldnt of appreciated me abandoning it .
