hows it going? my physio appointment last night confirmed my thoughts, i need to strengthen my legs and after 2-3 weeks complete rest i apparently need to do MORE cycling! Boom, an excuse to give to the missus to be out every night!

just opened a document i have been working on for 2 months and my boss decided he wanted to add a table it to it, on a3 portrait in a a4 document and not knowing how to do it has royally f*cked up the template and the document.

As i didnt know he would even try and change the document i didnt save a back up!

If you used something sensible like LaTeX, that wouldn't be an issue.

I'm back, Phew that was nice and easy.
I Have my MBUK to keep me company today, and i now have a nice Voodoo head buff to add to my collection :roll:

I should be recieving shiney bits today (hopefully?) and i should be able to get bike fixed tonight and delay tonights night ride. Been invited to do a night race over west london, Not planned to do it but i am tempted, not done a night race before? 8)

Today is a rubbish work day with an important meeting, which I could really do without.

Well, last night I 'broke up' with someone I was casually seeing (Well, I thought it was casual... :? ). not Foxc_uk I'll hasten to add, I'm not that stupid.

However it means I can now set my sights on my friend in Nottingham as things are going well 8)

Not much planned today. I get a nice new shiny MacBook Pro in a few minutes so I can access the Mac Servers a bit more easily.

I am knackered after yesterdays trip to Afan and the sleep I desperately needed last night was screwed up by the Fun Prevention Officer coming to bed late and junior waking up too early. Am trying to remdy this with coffee but it's not enough.

Now need to chase On-One to find out why the Dirty Dans I ordered haven't showed up despite getting an email 6 days ago to say they had been posted?

In an attempt to corner the market I have today purchased 4 Heston big Christmas puddings and 8 little ones. Looking at the prices on ebay, I'll leave it a couple of weeks until all the needy middle classes have exhausted the normal channels and become rabid morons intent on getting their hands on one no matter what the cost.

I can then buy a non Heston replacement for £5 and spend the other £400 profit on bike stuff and alcohol. If nobody buys them, then I'll keep one and the rest will be given to the in laws and friends. Win either way.

Turns out they're Jehovah's Witnesses and they would like to come in and read me a scripture from the bible.
I said no thanks.. but not to be outdone, they furnish me with a copy of The Watchtower and some JW propaganda.

Reminds me of an old joke" What do you get if you cross a JW with a Hells Angel? Someone who knocks on your door and tells you to f**k off...

Here in Nottingham the sun is shining and I'm off to service and fetch the girlfriends bike from work. I might even start a thread on it later. I hope the recently single people in the thread are feeling happier now. It sucks when you don't expect and when you have to do it yourself.

I've fuelled myself up with some bacon and sausages and now to drain the last of my tea and head out!
