Sorry if this has been posted before, has anyone purchased team cycling jersey's/shorts on Ebay? On the listing it says from China, are these any good?

Comments

  • Not bought any myself, but I've seen others wearing them and they look cr4p! Fonts not quite right, side panels printed upside-down, especially on Team Sky stuff!

Well my lad has just bought the black Francais Des Jeux kit and for the money, I think that they are pretty good value. Watch the sizing though - tend to come up small IME. Shirt and bibshorts for less than £30 delivered - not bad.

Got a Saxo Bank top and bib shorts for £32, good quality and the guy was great to deal with, got them to me in a couple of days.

Can't comment on the quality as it's not my bag but I'd rather pick up cheap Karrimor and know what I'm getting for my money. I'd say quality would definitely be an issue.

What's the point though? If you support the team then at least contribute a bit to the sponsors by buying the official kit, it will be better made to.

TBH, I'd rather get a crap Chinese jersey than even crapper Karrimor stuff. Whatever Karrimor once was, now it just sells garbage. I bought a couple of pairs of Karrimor trainers - I'd swear the soles were wearing away even when I wasn't wearing them. Cheese would have been more durable.

I've had a few of them. Seem to be as good as you'd need.
As to quality - my genuine adidas sky shorts are almost identical to the eBay shorts.

I was considering some on ebay but also found a good number on amazon for reasonable money are they the same copies or of better quality?

I really like the movistar stuff

If they don't say that they're genuine, then I'd suspect the Chinese copies.
