For those who read the Equilibrium thread from a couple of weeks ago will know the background.

I started off looking at a custom Equilibrium build and ended up with this.....

Fratello.jpg

Condor Fratello
Full Campag Chorus but Condor brakes (for reach) & A520 pedals (Off the Master. The Master gets a new set of Richey Pros :P )
Mavic Open Pro/DT Swiss/Campag Record handbuilt wheels
Conti 4 Season tyres
Flite saddle (Off the Master. The Master gets a bling SLR Team Edition :P )
Condor carbon post
Deda 100 stem & bars
Vavert mudguards

Nice! (IMHO)
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

I have the exact same bike but with Centaur and Askiums.

    I love it!

I explained this in the earlier thread but for clarity...
I would have been happy to go with the De Ver custom Equilibrium build but the fact that I have a Condor dealer in my area who came through made the difference.
As good as Maurice was, I still prefer dealing locally face to face whenever possible.
The Fratello ended up being more expensive but as the frame is more expensive to start with and throw in excellent service, well.....
Whether the Fratello is better than the Equilibrium I will probably never know but I am happy.

By the way, hand built wheels are the dawgs :P

You didn't line the tyre logos with the valve stems.

    Massive OCP fail.

It took a while but finally someone wins the prize!

    Well. No, you didn't actually.
I had the same thought but the guy who built up the bike has positioned the tyre logos next to the rim logos. Much better IMHO.
