Cup of tea.
Don't bother, it'll be dirty again when the rain comes on Monday...0 -
Some great advice here already, keep it coming...
Ideally I want to clean the transmission and get rid of some of the debris.
Just been into the LBS and ordered a Muc-Off kit and chain cleaner. Is that enough?
I'm not confident enough to take it all off the bike and put it back on again.0 -
I'm not dumb. I just have a command of thoroughly useless information0

If you want to clean the transmission, get the chain off (add quick links if you don't already have them) and overhaul the jockey wheels etc.

strap it to the roof of the car, wait for it to rain then drive up and down quickly
it works toRule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.0 -
