That's gotta go like a rocket with those wheels..

Hope you get a good weekend's weather to thrash it about mate. :)

Nice to see a traditional frame, they seem to be getting phased out almost now. They always build show and photo bikes with the slopers. Bloody economics eh? 4 sizes fit all.

FleshTux,keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks for another.

I meet an Italian in Bormio 2 years back, he said if you buy a top of range Colnago it has to be a traditional frame, other wise fellow riders in Italy would be disgusted in your choice. I always thought about his comments seriously, he was harden Dolomite local too. Pure climber. No mess.

Anyway....I like the traditional fit and look.

I agree, the white base colour works with the black low-pro wheels, which look better (and brake better) than deep dish carbon.

What's not doing it for me is the struggle between the grey and black accents on the ST, rear dropouts, seatpost, 'bars and forks. Neither of the colours is winning which makes your eye continue to scan around until you get frustrated with looking at it.

I think people in this country and the US tend of under-estimate how trend setting italian hobby riders are. We like to think they're dyed-in-the-wool purists but racing/riding there at least once a year for the last 7-8 shows me they follow trends like anyone else.

Look at nutso creations like the ultra-aero-looking Cipollini frame, the Deda Temerario, Lamborghini Countach, Carrera Phibra, and anything by Scapin to name just a few bizarre things they've brought to market.

Dario Pergoretti and Ernesto Colnago are NOT representative of the entire country. Sorry to kill the day-dream.
