New Trails At Leigh Woods, Bristol

Took the dog for a walk round Leigh Woods this afternoon and was disappointed at the number of MTBers apparently unable to understand the enormous signs asking riders to stay off the unfinished trails currently being built there.

Can we have a smiley for "slow, sarcastic hand-clap" please?

    Nothing unusual, I've seen the same crap happens at Cannock Chase too.
    The trail builders at Cannock are the wiser and make the trail unreachable by means of placing logs and chopped down brush over the entrances to the affected areas, but this doesn't always deter the ignorant.

    Never under-estimate the stupidity and ignorance of other people.
    I was at Haldon the other week, some guy rips off the rear mudguard he had and chucked it on the floor. I pointed out a foot long piece of plastic isn't biodegradable so he picked it up. I found it about 200 metres up the track and picked it up myself.

    Lot of stupid people around :wink:
