Cube or Canyon

I'm trying to justify to myself why I should buy the Canyon Nerve AM 6.0 2012 over the Cube AMS130 Pro 2011.
The major benefit is I buying the Cube I can pay over 12 months using 0% interest. The downside to Canyon is I have to pay up front (I have the cash waiting)
Is there any significant difference between the Cube and the Canyon?
Specs
Canyon

Cube

Another factor is the Cube looks better IMO and I would have to wait 2 months for the Canyon to arrive.

Both nice bikes but and it depends on you how big a but it is. I had a problem with my Canyon and I found the customer service to be pish poor. A friend of a friend bought a Cube from CRC and a couple of weeks down the line had a problem with the paintwork on the forks flaking off rang CRC and 2 days later he had a replacement brand new bike. I dont regret buying the Canyon but I still want to stick a sharpened spoke into the nearest Canyon customer services employee.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0

I personally went though the exact same thing as you going back 3 months.
I knew that canyon had great spec for money and everything and it couldnt be beaten in that. However it can be beaten in just about every other way. For me it was the 6 month waiting list that put me off  many people i know have had bad experiences with there customer care team.
I Now own my sparkly cube AMS 130. I would say to test ride the new ones as they have pretty much the exact spec as the 2011 version. I Personally love my CUBE. Everyone always compliments how its looks the the part. (coming from people who do and also dont bike) Pleny of little things to play with such as the remote lockout (you dont get on the canyon) . It feels amazing to ride to be fair and with the adjutable travel is great downhill aswell as up. The cube is another one of the well specced german brands but also offer the good customer service.
Dont get me wrong the canyon is a great bike for a great bike im just giving you my own opinion.
Hope this helps abit ask any questions you like0 -
Had no issues at all with Canyon customer service. Phoned the UK office direct and emailed a few times since buying and always had a response within 24 hrs.
Definitely a close call though, both are nice bikes with good spec!0
