hey all
not the usual 'pros & cons' talk
getting ready to go tubless, reseached it followed the treads on here, then yesterday found something slightly difference to ponder over.
some say over a period of time the fluid in the tyre (stans or other) causes the sidewalls to fail, causing a sidewall bulge.
anybody had this problem and over what time span did it happen.
cheers all

Been running tubeless now for a year and had no problems, I do change the fluid regularly though as I change my tyres to suit the conditions. Got a friend who has been running one set of tyres with stans for nearly 18 months fine. Maybe it's only with certain tyres?Custom spec Scott Scale

Never had it happen to me, dont know anybody it has happened to... more likely thing to happen is the sealant 'goes off' over a period of time, it just drys out and you get a hairy latex ball rattling around on the inside of your tyre.0
