Image my surprise when I came home this evening to find a statement for my saving account has actually accumulated some interest

Now then what to spend this princely sum on :?:

    No.

I might have used one 10 years ago for climbing/mountaineering/caving but head torch technology has moved on a lot since then.

@ITB - £30 interest (lets be fair, the rates are crap right now!) doesn't buy much these days, but if you buy the better half some flowers or a slap up supper - you may earn enough brownie points for a day out on your fine steed on the South Downs or even a Audax day out...

@gtv nice thought but two problems there 1) I don't need permission to ride EVER. 2) £30 isn't going to buy anyone a slap up meal esp not my wife, might buy her first round of drinks ....

Nah my problem is solved, seems that yet again the washing basket monster has eaten my clothes, blue solo gillet GONE and I can't wear a red one on a blue bike can I.

    Tsk

Sir, you are a god amongst mere men. For me; permission is only granted on Nursery days, falling on the 3rd Tuesday of the month on a full moon night and on proviso that I use the pseudnym: Mary.

Question has to be asked if you can blame the washing basket scandal on someone else and get them to cough up the cash for a replacement, saving your sweet interest for something else that is shiny......

I'm not that's even possible. I mean not without stopping him altogether.
