Hi
I have just purchased a Specialized Stumpjumper Expert Evo in a Medium.
I am 5ft 7.7 tall and fit into the Medium according to specialized.
I was just wandering if anyone has any experience with the Stumpjumpers etc IRO sizing?
On the bike my elbows are bent and not locked.
does standover make that much difference?
Any help is appreciated.
Many Thanks

bent elbows is correct.
Does it feel ok to you?
I don't understand what you are asking.... standover is irrelevant if the bike feels good to ride!0 -
I'm 5 8" and have a medium, however that doesn't mean its going to be right for you (probably is).
Why would you want locked out elbows anyway? Means you're stretching a lot if they are, and would hamper your ability to manouver easily i.e. turning...0 -
I'm not quite as tall as you at 5ft 7.0" but ride a small enduro. Fits me fine.I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

5 foot 10 and medium spesh frames are spot on perfect for me.0

I'm 6ft - Over the summer I rode a Medium Enduro and a Large Stumpy FSR. Both bikes felt great!
My Rockhopper is a 19" (Medium?) - fits perfectly. Take form that what you will..."Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

I would probably have thought a small stumpy Evo would be better. I am 6'2 and with the seatpost al the way down I can only just get on with the command post fully up on a large, until you sink into the travel.0

why would you want your elbows locked out sounds like trouble to me..
i'm 5;9 and have a medium demo 7 fits me fine all my frames are medium..
the smaller the frame the more chuckalbe it is, but you suffer a little if your a mile muncher.....www.bearbackbiking.com

I am 5'8" but only 29" inside leg and ride a a small Spec Camber which is spot on for me.When you hear hoofbeats, think of horses, not zebras.0
