Hi - I have just puchased a 2010 Cube AMS 125 Pro secondhand. I am unable to lockout the forks and wondered if anybody has any ideas what is wrong? They seem to have a little less suspension in them when locked out but not much less than when unlocked.
Any help would be appreciated. Also does anybody know if I would have any come back with Rockshox as they are under 2 yrs old but I am not the original purchaser of the bike.

Cheers

    that sounds normal.

    they dont fully lock out.

Thanks for the reply, I found a thread on mbr earlier where a number of people had similar issues with no particular outcome. Strange that they dont lock out as they have the padlock sign on the fork dial and it also has a poploc, therefore I assumed that it would lock out.

    cheers

    Have you adjusted the Floodgate?
  • Mine don't lock out fully but there is a noticable difference, thats how it was setup by my LBS

If its a bar mounted Poploc check the cable tension, make sure there's no slack in it or it wont fully actuate.

    And what Super said.

I have Rev Race from new and when you lock out with the floodgate closed they still move a little, this is normal.

The floodgate is a silver colour knob with a padlock on turn that so its fully closed, if in the open position they will move quite a bit.

Thanks for the replies, I think they still move more than they should, there is not much difference in the movement between being locked and unlocked. Also there is a hissing kinda noise when ]you depress the forks which I have not come acrosas on any other forks I've had.

Cheers, I think I've finally got to the bottom of it, had a mate look at it and it looks as though the poploc cable needs adjusting as when we pull the cable tought manually the forks lock out. Thanks for all your help.
