Hi all,
I have a HTC Sensation XE phone i am selling and notice they go for around the 400 notes mark on ebay.
After paying all fees to ebay, paypal how much would i be looking at actually receiving were i to decide to take this route and say it did go for 400?
Any help greatly appreciated as i haven't used the bay for quite a while now. :?

You will get charged 10% of your final selling price up to a maximum of £40. You will also get charged an insertion fee. This fee varies depending on your starting price. Adding a reserve price will add another 3% of the reserve amount to your fees.

Paypal fees will be around 4% also. So you're looking at around £56 in fees (paypal will charge you the fees on the shipping funds you receive also).0

Hang on, so is there then a fee to use paypal? I have sold something for 99p on BIN, so an 8p fee for that, brings to 91p then 10% final selling fee which brings to 82p but when i look on paypal my balance is 76p :?winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

I just sold an iPhone on ebay for £300. The fees came to £40.90. That includes a listing fee of 40p, a final valuation fee of £29.88 and £10.62 paypal fees.0

Yes there is.
Why do you think eBay bought Paypal years ago and now insist that all sellers MUST accept it as a form of payment!??
Paypal fees are 3.8% of all monies received I believe (varies depending on the type of account you have?)
That is why - when selling on the forum - people ask that funds are sent via Paypal GIFT - as there are no fees on this type of transaction (as long as the funds come from the sender's bank account or paypal balance).
It's a racket.0 -
