Good day for me but only because I'm expecting stuff to be delivered today:
My Rockshox Reba RLTs
Teva Links in grey, blue and yellow
An exposure helmet mount
A T6 torch, along with lots of batteries adn a charger from DX
A 1600 lumen light from ebay.
I'll get to be amazed by the shinyness and then have a good fettle.
The rest of my day is shit as always, though0 -
Today i am tired,
i snoozed far longer than i should of done but i made it in time.
last night was spent fettling after abuild i did at the weekend for a friends bike, trimming down the hoses and setting up the gears etc, a bit of bleeding and all done. just got to sort out taking the std shock off and put the fox one on and theits done.
i too shall be expecting a delivery of a few things today, then hopefully i'll be able to start sorting my own bike out?
I spent so much money yesterday, but other than a bit on a credit card i'm all paid up! which is nice.

Exes and double-exes
Interesting past few days.
On Wednesday my manager came in and announced his resignation, causing us in his team to fear for our futures. Jobs in our line ain't two-a-penny.
Laters on weds I get a phone call, out of the Blue, from my former Director, from his new establishment, saying he wanted to make me an offer.
Saturday I had a f*****g awesome ride around the Derwent Valley as part of Kaisers Wreakin' Cru
Yesterday I headed out to see former Director to discuss this 'offer'.
I now have a formal interveiw tomorrow.
That's good week, in my book. 8)
Onwards to coffee, and Bacons! (well, why not?)
....but Veedub'll have to get his own.... sorry, dude! How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

Morning bumders
Woke up to find that yet again the boiler hasn't even attempted to heat any water, we got the landlord to get someone to look at it at the end of last week (and the week before that, before then we'd just been using the immersion), and it worked for a few days, now it's stopped, again.
Anyway, couple of lectures today, the time between being filled with working very hard for once
This evening will be spent trawling ebay looking for something cheap to singlespeed and run around town.

Meh,
We moved to our new house last week and the boiler was condemned and there's no immersion heater, no central heating until 28th November.
Double Meh,
I'm now in the redundancy pool for the second time in a year, all thanks to the fact I'd agreed to take on more work.
Triple Meh,
No replacement 456 SS frames for quite a while.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Morning Saddle Sniffers
Today I have a few bit & pieces to do in the garden, then I'll be doing some gear indexing and generally prepping the Anthem for tonights ride at Bedgebury. My Helmet light still hasn't arrived (I am blaming Wiggle for this, really) so will have to do with the bar light only. I've also stuck the Cycraguards on to avoid me looking like the creature from the swamp when I'm finished.
Now time for a coffee..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Today I'll be scurrying around trying to achieve something at work, remains to be seen if it actually works.
Laters I'm off to DE to see THP and watch PJ20.
If anyone has the time or the inclination it's on for the last time tonight at various Showcase cinemas around the country... info found here (thanks to Muttly) http://www.showcasecinemas.co.uk/programmes/pearljam.asp

Morning All,
Put my photoshop skills to work last night restoring a WW1 photo of an RAF service man (dude at works grandad) the picture had been screwed up and thrown the cotton backing had split and there wasnt much left of it.
After 5 hours of careful work and putting some new skills in to practice i finished. I showed him today after printing it on A3 photo paper and he started to go glassy eyed on me. I didnt know when i said i would have a look at it that his grandad past away last week and he wanted the picture restored so he could have it on the top of the casket during the funeral ceremony. He now wants to pay me and i feel bad taking the money! I feel quite honored really
VW 1 rashers between two bread items does not constitue a bacon sandwich, the filling doesnt fulfill its role of "filling", hmm it would have hidden the 2nd slice better, you need practice.
clank the only thing about me that was "wreckin' Cru" was me being completely wrecked before anyone else, i shall be organising another ride soon, just need to think of where, hmm.........0 -
Morning Crud W@nkers!
Not been on here for aaaaages, but things are settling down at work, so I have time for forums again wooo
I have the morning off today, probably tomorrow as well, as I'm working the evening shift as I can get more stuff done then. I'm grateful of the lie in to be honest, I've been working 13 hour days, 7 days a week for the last month. Work isn't happy with my overtime claim form, I, however, am delighted
Anywho, I'm off to sleep for a little longer. Laterz beaches! It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Morning/afternoon people.
Chilling in work eating biscuits (and not working).
Had an interesting game of football last night which ended up being abandoned due to other team getting too many red cards... mass brawl at the end was simply awesome.Formally known as Coatbridgeguy0
