Ha ha, yeah probably. The way I see it I paid £65 for 62 energy gels, 16 bananas, 36 cakes and 10 litres of energy drink.

My horseshoe pass time was 29:11, I was really flagging at the bottom, speed dropped to 4mph at one point

06:53:30, pretty happy with that considering the amount of climbing involved and the fact that I was in two groups that got lost! 32 mins for horseshoe... 368th out of 977, and was faster than average. Hoorah!

My mate and I were pretty late and didn't set off until 8:45 when the main group was already on the way so we missed the pileups at the start and managed to do lots of overtaking. Hard ride but overall lots of fun.
