Giro Gilman gloves sizing

Hi There
I like the look of the Giro Gilman gloves, but according to people on the internet, the sizing is funny (too small). Of course i don't know what they compare with, or how tight they like their gloves. That's why i need your help!
I found this size-guide from Giro: (see further down)
Do you own it and can anyone help me find the correct size? I get the length of blue to 18,5cm (M) and the length of red to 20-20,5 (M). This indicates I should get a medium size glove, but i don't know I can trust the guide.
