been waiting hmmm just over 2 weeks since my bike was nicked. i am now incredibly missing it and can feeling my cycling super powers disapearing!

    good ideas, at first i was happy window shopping and fortifying the security now i just want to get out and ride!! well maybe not in the wind tho lol

    ianbar - have you asked them what the delay is?

    Sounds like your claim is being investigated if not settled already - I expect you are going through a claim management company and these are efficient, but you just have to have the wrong box ticked and then nothing will happen.

    I worked for many years in Insurance and when I had to make a claim a few years ago - there were quite a few problems. Only when I spoke to a person on the other end of the phone and started listing out all that he was doing - did they pull their fingers out. A cheque was in the post that very afternoon...

    Its definitely worth giving them a call to stress that the bike was actually used for commuting to work (even if thats not strickly true.) This might push things along and also i'd look into them sorting you out with a hire bike until the money comes through. I was offered this on a recent claim and it could get you back on a bike now.
