Winter tyres

Can't decide what tyres to go for this winter. I don't want mud tyres as they tend to pinch flat too easily. My bike is a Giant Reign X so there is plenty of mud clearance. Most of my riding is fast down DH trails then back up single track for a few laps before a blast across muddy moor land.
Schwalbe Muddy Mary's look good & so do the single ply Swamp Things. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Light weight & large volume with the ability to cope with sticky mud without too much resistance. would be an advantage
