Good luck, dont have an inbetweeners moment!

At work, doing inspections on staff all this week which is fun, getting to work for 05:30 but it does mean i get to leave earlier to fettle with the bikes.
Did a build for a friend on saturday, just got to tidy a few bits up like shortening the brake hoses which come unfeasably long, and the steerer tube which is about 4" too long
Got to wait another few days before i put my bike back together

Had a good weekend with watching sport, eating and drinking lots which was 8) but made it very hard to ride a compeletly standard GT Avalance 2.0 around a muddy Epping when your used to a bike half its weight and with full suspension. Ache a bit today

    Right onwards

  • Looking for a new motorbike helmet today, seen a nice supermoto one i've fallen in love with, just speaking to wifey to see if I can swing using the account for the price of the damn thing. After that, am on the search for used parts to pick up for my bike, in the shape of new wheels and brakes! Can't wait!

    Morning crudmonkeys

    matthew h

    Good luck

Now then, on with business. Lectures today, only 2 of them thankfully. Then I'm off into London to do a quick bit of shopping before heading back for some group work that I'm not in the mood for.

Going out for a couple of hours with the hockey lot for some fitness work starting this evening. That will swiftly be followed by some beers and food of some description. Anyway I'd better think about going to these lectures.

  • Morning maggots,

At home today and OMG, it is windy out. The noise from the gales is unreal and it was like that all night too. Kite weather methinks!

Matthew H, good luck for the exam! Sure all will be well.

good luck mate, honeslty it is worth it in the end, i have been without for a number of months now and i feel so much better!

I had a lapse on a night out about 3 months ago, and i felt like dog dirt in the morning, definately put me off.

Are you using patches etc or going cold turkey?!

Matthew h, let us know how it went when you get back from the pub.

I've been busy this morning, already sorted out bike stuff that needed washing, been to the bank, library, barbers shop and made myself a mahoosive cheese omelette washed down with a big mug of coffee :) More jobs this afternoon - the fish pond needs its pre-winter clean out (not pleasant), followed by washing one of the bikes ready for tomorrows evening at Bedgebury. Better get my ar$e in gear again.

  • Good luck for exam - mine is next Monday.
I survived this morning. I did have a feeling I might not.

cold turkey, was thinking about patches if it got too tough but it was so hellish the first day I decided not to prolong the agony.
