Just got back from first proper trail ride around the pentland hills and had a fall into a very very deep puddle and he bike was basically fully submerged in water (so was I ofc lol) and on the way home it sounds like there is loads of grit rubbing between the disc break and pads but there Isent :/.

I took off the wheel, washed down the disc and washed both pads with clean hot water and rubbed them with a little sandpaper to make sure nothing small was stuck in them but still the same! It goes away after some hard stops but comes back again.

Wtf? Driving me nuts lol

dirt on the pads. just use and the noise will go.

it will be imbedded now after use.
