in order to preserve my employment (bloody recession) I may apply for a transfer and this would mean me commuting 26 miles each day.
I would be going from Colindale over to Ravenside Close in Edmonton!!
Obviously I'd want to avoid the north circular, does anyone here do a similar journey and be able to offer any suitable routes???

I'd be thinking along the lines of ...
Apex Corner, Totteridge Lane, Oakleigh Road North, Russell Lane, Osidge Lane, Chase Side, Winchmore Hill Road, Green Dragon Lane, Ridge Lane, Church Street, Fore Street, Brantwood Road, Meridian Way then cut through the Tesco car park.
I used to work near Leeside Road and commuted the Green Dragon Lane onwards part of the route through the snow last winter. After much refining, that seemed to be the best way for me, but YMMV.FCN 3: Raleigh Record Ace fixie-to be resurrected sometime in the future
FCN 4: Planet X Schmaffenschmack 2- workhorse
FCN 9: B Twin Vitamin - winter commuter/loan bike for trainees
I'm hungry. I'm always hungry!0
