brand new easton bars, brand new yeti grips, built the bike up a few years ago and the left grip has always slowly twisted on the bar.
the right one is fine.
i would of used hairspray originally so why is one fine and not the other?
anyway, i'm just wondering if i can pull this left grip off is there anything good to clean the grip and bar and try fixing it in place again? i got white spirit here and aftershave (random i know but i've always found it well useful if expensive to get sticky labels off dvd cases and marker pen off shiney surfaces, etc). i aint got no money so needs to be some household stuff.
i'm also concerned if i pull the grip off it might stretch it and never sit tight again anyway? especially if i have to use a thin screwdriver or something.

Either that or spray some strong hold hairspray through the grip before refitting. It'll be as solid as a rock then.0 -
I think Superstar lock ons are cheaper than hairspray. Unless you already use it on your hair.I don't do smileys.
