My Cannondale CAAD10 DA

Thought it was time I put my CAAD on here. I bought it earlier this year and have put several hundred miles under her since then.
Changes I've made from standard are, 2011 Mavic Ksyrium SL's, full Ritchey WCS finishing kit, DA calipers, DA front mech, KMC chain and SRAM red cassette.
Also added the carbon cages, my favourite pedals, Speedplay Zero's and my Bryton Rider 35 computer.
Since this photo was taken I have also changed the jockey wheels to KCNC anodised red ones, and the tyres are now Conti GP4000s, (the Schwalbe are excellent but very soft and prone to cuts).

looks good in stelth mode0

Good stuff! Love it.
What would finish it off perfectly are some Stronglight ct2 chainrings to complete the stealth look. They are really good too.Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

Lovely bike. Have you removed the decals? If so, how'd you get them off?Specialized Venge S Works

you're back?! how are you? (a little beside the point of this thread, my bad)
nice bike, CAADs look good with the horizontal top tube, but i keep thinking that aluminium is yesteryear technology! although i'm sure you'd agree with people who say that it'd still cut it with modern carbon?0 -
Good cheers.
I think aluminium done well is still up there.Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

What would be really cool is 3t team black stem and seatpost, out soon.

And a cannondale si chainset if you're going all in with the gloss black ghosted graphics.
I picked one up for about £60 if I remember, nice chainset.0 -

F**k me, you got yourself bargain of the century there man. Hard enough to source one let alone for £60.0 -
I'm not talking si sl, i mean the carbon one but was still cheap I reckon, sometimes they go for loads, sometimes nothing. Ebay for you.
Aesthetically it was cool though, you'd only see the Cannondale graphic from certain angles.0 -

The bars are nice too.

Sorry caadman. NICE BIKE!!

The alloy Si by Cannondale is still a fine bit of kit and damn expensive RRP.
The Carbon one made by FSA not so special but still nice. £60 Bargainatious!0 -
Thanks for the comments guys, the bike rides like a dream. I gotta admit the 3T stuff would look good, but I think SWMBO might have something to say about the price :roll:0

The SLK crank just isn't that pretty but the positive side is you can sell it in a heart beat because FSA stuff is desireable (plus it's compact which, looks-wise, isn't that lust-worthy)When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0 -
Yeah... Get a black Hollowgram
That'll be a whole world of win!0 -

Anyone know of any UK stockists of the Hollowgram Si Chainset?0

Easy son, you're well on your way to a £300 tab for those, but I think the whole forum supports you :-)
Only way is through the 'Dale retail network, speak to the shop you but the bike thru, it's not a mssive retail item, mainly OEM but of course they exist. If you get 130mm BCD you can still sequeeze on a 38 x 52 or 51 (TA chainrings have all sizes).
It's your money but I'd go black arms & spider with red axle caps: http://www.bicycle.net/wp-content/uploa ... g_1712.jpg
Remember to take the FSAs off as soon as you can before they get any more use so you can maximize resale. When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0 -
There was a black set on ebay last week. They go for anything up to £500, some as low as £150. They often come up on weightweenies.0

Had a price from Wheelbase, (where I bought the bike) for a Hollowgram chainset, they rang me back with £799.00 GBP!!!!!!!!!
So that's a complete non-starter, but now I want stealth chainrings so I will look at the Stronglights, but cash flow is very poor so I'm afraid it'll have to wait for now0 -
I am caad10man but I'm not able to log in anymore with that username for some reason?
Anyway, a quick bike update, I've now ordered Stronglight CT2 chainrings to complete the stealth look. I'll post a new pic once I've received and fitted them0 -
Dear mother of God on fleabay they're spendy: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=h ... m270.l1313
£950 for the carbon MTB triple!! Used. And they don't even say Clavicula or Vuma Quad on them!
Actually some used Vuma's would be well SICK. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zipp-Vuma-car ... 2303a2090f

^They look crap with those rings IMO! If I could afford the Hollowgram chainset it'd have be a stock road version like this, http://www.flickriver.com/photos/marioh ... 364969785/
But I can't so it's the Stronglight rings to stealth up my FSA-SLK spider0 -
Finally managed to source a pair of Stronglight CT2's. This pic was taken after a very quick fitment and in the pitch black.
I need to decide whether to go with these new red KCNC bolts or stick with black ones, then I need to torque the bolts, fit the new chain, sort the front mech and give her a good clean at weekend.
