Snapped my left hand pedal 20 miles from home today. No worries, phone Mrs dmclite and get picked up.....no signal. So, 6 miles of one legged pedalling round Newnham, Doddington etc today, got to a pub called The George and got a signal. Waited for pick up and had a pint. No point to this really, but I wanted to tell it to someone. :)

Bike now fixed and ready to ride tomorrow.

I was riding home from Manchester once, and my right pedal came off its axle, I was between Wakefield and Pontefract, I had about 20 miles to go, had to cycle about 6 miles on one leg, luckily got picked up by parents.

That's nothing. I cycle with one leg every day. 8)
  • How do you snap a pedal?
