Is the CAAD right for me?

I ride a 56 frame CAAD9 (which I love) but am wondering if it is the right bike for me. I am looking to increase my performance in the time trials that I do next season but at the same time I I still want to enjoy a "sunday morning ride".
I am good 6'1" with a broad build and sometimes feel that the CAAD is a bit "aggressive!"
Is there a bike out there to enable me to get more out of my TTs whilst doing the job for the longer rides or am I thinking about this too much and should I stick with the CAAD?
I cant afford a TT bike and longer ride bike sadly otherwise the answer woudl be easier.
Any ideas - thanks !

Cervelo S1 - flippable seatpost makes it suitable as both a TT bike & road bike.0
