This morning saw the flashing lights of the gritters.
The buggers were leaving a trail of the poison white stuff.
Seems a bit early, I could only think - WTF

Simples, they need to do a "dry run" to make sure the gritters are running correctly.

Make up for last winters screw up, maybe not on your LA but certainly on a few others!!

  • thats nothing, they've only just got electricity in Stoke.
The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.
  • they were out and about in East London on Saturday morning too. training begins in earnest ready for the winter about now. its not easy setting the plough to the correct height and getting the salt spread ratio right. they will also be being assesed by external assesors to ensure they are trained to the correct level.

I will hand in my cycling route and tell them NO SALT on these roads.
Practice on the other 5000 miles of road.
