Turbo-trainer / exercise bike googlemaps mashup

Has anyone got any ideas where I might be able to find someone who could do a mashup of the speed/distance output from a bunch of exercise bikes/turbotrainers, and googlemaps or similar?
We're trying to organise a charity bike ride - or rather, an extended spinning session - with the target of riding from the UK to Tanzania. If we had 5 or 10 bikes running simultaneously, then we combined the distance covered by each, we might get to our 'target'.
I've got absolutely no idea if this is actually possible, but I've seen someone link a turbotrainer up to a simulator of a Tour de France stage, so I'm hopeful.
Any ideas?

May be a bit basic your use case though.
