Quite new to the road cycling scene and just wondering the pro's and cons of rollers v turbo trainers for the fantastic british weather?

You may be surprised to find out that you're not the first person to ask this exact same question. Tried the search function?

Turbo, having had both got far less bruising as a result of turbo....fell off rollers a couple of times
Think rollers are a little harder and require a bit more concentration, they do a bit more for your balance and core muscles as well...but it's far easier to jump on ya turbo spin your legs and catch up on the tours on euro sport :D

MTB Kona Kikapu Deluxe with a few upgrades!!
  • Rollers every time.

Had a turbo but always found it a boring as hell.

I then tried a set of rollers in my LBS and after falling off a couple of times, i got the hang of it and I remember being utterly amazed that I had spent twenty five minutes on it, I genuinely thought I'd been ten minutes! Rollers require concentration which makes the time fly by!!

Unless you're racing and need the training - just ride the roads.
