Paris - Roubaix Challenge 2012

Hi all,
Quite fancy battering myself next year on some cobbles. My mate did the Flanders sportive this year and he loved it. He's doing it again next year but I won't be able to do it. I have said if I couldn't do flanders I'd do roubaix.
Thing is, I can't quite figure out, for starters, whether it's running in 2012. Or if the sign up for it has been and gone?! Does anyone have any info on when the sign up might be/has been or if it is happening?!
Did anyone do it last year? If so, was it any good?
Cheers

Do the proper one in June organised by VC Roubaix not the soft-tappers special from ASO which conveniently misses out the tough bits.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Cheaper, better and the real thing as opposed to a watered down taster...
PR is hard not because there are a few cobbles, but because there are 32 miles of them... if you take out more than half (and the worst bits), it's a rather easy ride which misses the all pointleft the forum March 20230 -
Looks like I'll be trying my damdest to sort out going to flanders then! I'd also seen that theres Liege - Bastonge - Liege which looks to be a bit of a beast. If you do the full route anyway.
Anyone know of any other good continental sportives during school holidays? Being a teacher is somewhat restrictive. All these holidays are in just the wrong place! Ha ha.0 -

Thats the confusing bit. Last year the registration was in march. That link, seems to be for 2011. It's all a bit weird.0
