Marzocchi DJ3s - other uses?

Alright all. got a set of decent 2010 DJ3s off a Spesh P1. They're on my old jump bike at the minute and work fine. Looking for a bigger XC mtb. just wondering if anyone has used the DJ3s on anything other than a jump bike. And how did they go? I guess weight is the biggest issue?
If this is the wrong place, feel free to slate me! (but tell us where i should put it!)
