Now, for all you Brightonians that have seen the fine construction,
Did anyone else get excited thinking they were constructing a swinging ship?

    Brighton sefront's already a dog's dinner, I fail to see how a fairground big wheel is going to make it better... :roll:

    Just in time for the 6 months of ferocious winds/rain and no-tourism we get every year.

    Do we need it?

    Not really, the money would have been better spent on something useful for the residents, rather than trying to squeeze even more tourists onto the town's creaking infrastructure.

    Some less ridiculous cycle lanes would be a good start.
