at what point in the process does the discount get taken off the total?

I've added stuff to my basket, entered the code and whilst it says the code has been applied, the basked total remains the same :?

You have to be logged into your account for the discount to take effect or register frst if you havent got an account then it should work.

Look at the total bottom right in the basket as the total higher up stays at full price
