Anybody here running 25mm tyres within SKS chromoplastics on a standard road bike? Got the guards fitted and they seem to have reasonable clearance over my 23mm conti's. Want to move to 25mm for the winter and was wondering if they inflate significantly larger, obviously 2mm is not a lot but real world feedback would be good?

  • I've run 25mm tyres on the equilibrium without problems, I'm running the P35 'guards.

I've squeezed 28mm Gatorskins in the smallest size of Chromoplastic, so I wouldn't be too worried if I were you.

Also running 28mm Gatorskins on the same.
  • 25mm Marathon Pluses on the same size, but Bluemels. Don't like the brown in the sun look of the Chromoplastics!
