Morning clunges....

I've been awoken by the local crazy man... (his mother doesn't like giving him his medication so you get the odd occasion where he's outside shouting random bollox early in the morning)

I have to look at the calendar just to check what day it is..

Work schedule is tight, everything needs doing at once...

on the plus side, just found a box of apple pies

    Exes and Double-exes

Stuff to break, robots to program and shizzle to stick together. Coffee to drink.
And thus my working day is sorted.

Homeward will feasture a quick stop at the LBS to check out some slightly more padded gloves for Kaisers Ladybower wanderings. Home will feature some bike fettling too.

    Morning

Off work for the rest of the week to revise for an exam on Monday. Going to drop the kids off at school in a min and will run back (6 miles) then cycle up later to pick them up.

Other than that it is management theories all day, with a bacon pit stop for lunch.

    Morning Genetic Experiments,

I'm off swimming this morning as the weather's turned crap, then a trip to the dentist :( , then maybe a bit of tinkering with shock pressures and damper settings on the new toy this afternoon. Feeling tired so need more coffee...

Didn't go to my class last night as I was too tired, watched 3 episodes of the great british bake off instead, and Muttly very kindly told me about PJ20 being shown next week so am arranging with THP to go to it.

Today is workmeh, followed by dinner at a friends...if he ever replies to my text...

    Morning

Off today so I've got a car to be serviced and a ceiling to paint. Done some initial house hunting , found a really cool house but it's in Splott, which I've been warned off, I on the other hand am open minded so going to have a look anyway.

Anyway time to get my oil changed

depends where in splott it is, some of it isn't too bad, roath and cathays are ok aswell but are full of students and i know northern monkey from here and my brother who live there hate the student factor.

ely, riverside and grangetown are also places to avoid if possible :D

Yeah Mrs G's sister lives in Roath at the mo, it seems ok there but just a nightmare driving round with cars parked everywhere. Canton would be my no 1 choice of location, but the way I'm looking at it is, is it worse than the bit of Wolves I live in now?

    Cheers for advice though Kev

    morning all

i am very tired after nto sleeping very well, ie not at all

my job is very boring and i am getting itchy feet, getting paid well is all well and good but having to sit in an office and do naf all most of the time is frustrating. Ideally i want to start doing sometyhing creative, photographic etc......hmmm not sure my pictures are good enough!

anyway back to the grind stone,

looking forward to the Ladybower rider on saturday, should be a good day out!
  • Greetings Maggots,

I am home based today, so win.
A little tired after the alarm clock decided to ring at 5AM, but there's something quite satisfying about checking the time, switching it and knowing you have a few extra hours to "snooze"

Not much going on today, it's really windy outside today, so I may dig my old stunt kite out and go the park after work, light permitting of course

Ran 6.9 miles in under an hour and eaten loads of decent thick bacon - big wins so far :)

Don't get to see him often enough to find out! Once a week certainly ain't enough to keep me happy.
It's been a heady mix of insomnia and too much socialising...
