Some stuff might fit, some might not.I don't do smileys.

A non exhaustive list of things that often don't fit.
- Seat post and clamp
- front mech (full sus often need top swing)
- forks sometimes the steerer is not long enough
- cables and hoses different run lengths
- bottom bracket
then there are things that often don't feel right.
stem, bars and sometimes XC wheels don't stand the demand of a more AM oriented bike.0 -
Frame depends on what you want to do - XC, bigger stuff, DH?I don't do smileys.

seems there is more to it.... as for a frame AM would probably the way to go... think it'd be easier to buy a complete bike.
cheers anywaysRegards Bazza

economically always the best way to go.. find a low spec used FS bike (e..g. a comp stumpy or enduro fsr) and spend the budget upgrading the important parts while selling the old parts on ebay.
Failing that ride it until bits break and then upgrade.
Mind you I ran an Spesh Enduro on 100mm forks, XC bars, with XC wheels for ages and it rode well.0
