On which day do I become a miserable, moany git?

I need some help here. I've been having a moan about shops putting their Christmas stuff out way too early since I saw the 1st Xmas puddings in August. On which day does moaning about shops putting out Christmas stuff too early cross the line between being reasonable and being a moany bastard?

I think sometime after Bonfire Night would be appropriate, but does it change according to the weather?

    Default to being a Moany Bastard all year round, then when you are reasonable you can make someone happy!

    as a comprimise I allow December, ideally the 11th. 2 weeks is plenty of time. Unfortunately I have no authority (yet) and therefore once Halloween is done, it's xmas game on. boo
