So after more than 2 years of living on my own my new burd moved in and I will have been to IKEA twice in one week!

Please don't reply I would be grateful if you just read this and kept your derision to yourselves...

  • Two trips to IKEA in one week is too higher price to pay for a bit of leg over. :(

I thought "throw cushions" was what someone does to the TV set every time Piers Morgan appears on it? ;)

    Ooooooh no!

You've made your (IKEA) bed now you have to lie in it, I don't think it should be allowed to slip off the front page.

In fact the admins/mod's ought to make it a "sticky" to serve as a warning to other cyclist that may step on the same slippery slope to cycling oblivion.

God bless you, and my the lord have mercy on your soul.

I would point out (again) she has more bikes than me, six in total, recent events she's finished include LEJOG, 10 under the Ben, Kielder 100 and at the Manx E2E would have caught me if the course was ½mile longer...so I shan't be losing my bike rights I infact will be having to up my game :o

Yeah, right-o, whatever you say.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt mate, the thread should still remain prominent as a warning to others less fortunate. :D

The girlfriend has already designs on my house; she has her own but so wants to do up my old style home to modernise it. I smell trips to Ikea soon :)

Years ago I used to have to go regularlily to buy stuff for work I found that Tuesday nights around 8pm were best as no other Mother Funsters were there. When I go back tomorrow this will be the target!
One upside of my recent lifestyle change is I will be getting a Mahoosive shed built in the back garden to accommdate up to 12 bikes, a TV and beer fridge! all those bikes won't clean themselves you know

The only reason you're getting a shed is because she knows that the kids bikes will have to go somewhere. They're certainly not going to mess up her new IKEA sofa

Haha :) She's happy to let me bike, play Black Ops, whilst she plays the Sims and watches TV. Match made in heaven :)
