buying in bulk

hi all,
I was just about to do some ordering, when I thought hang on I keep buying these and its not going to stop anytime soon, can't I just buy boxes of the stuff? so I managed to find boxes of 10 inner tubes, which amount to a saving of about 4quid overall, which isnt' amazing I have to say.
but I was also wondering about gear cables, I can't seem to see any of these in packs of 10 say. Or even better would be a roll of cable, but I've no idea if thats possible as I'd have to fit the little knobby thing to the end, whcih I'm assuming is a factory only job.
digressed a bit there, any idea if I can buy a 10 box or something from someone?

Plenty of people selling bulk cables on Ebay.
Don't think you can make your own though.I don't do smileys.
