Speedplay X5 advice

Hi,
Bought a pair of X5 pedals, I had read that they weren't self-centering...Mine do!

At this point i have only attached the cleats to a pair of shimano R063 shoes and clipped in the pedals by hand.

When i rotate the pedals the spring forces the pedal back to the center.


Is this correct as i had read that they were free floating

Any help folks

My guess is that when you're wearing your shoes and clipped in you will not notice any self-centering as the tension is very minimal. Let us know if you still have problems and go from there.
