Neck Pain

Hi guys,
I have just bought a road bike and am experiencing some neck pain around the 1hr 30min mark.
I have only been riding for the past couple of weeks so would it be normal to experience some discomfort?
I am 6'2 / 33' and bought a Focus Cayo 105 Ltd XL (58cm). I know thats on the limit of a 58 but I prefer the bike to be a little smaller for handling and I can always adjust to make it bigger.
