Schwalbe Ultremo R1 sidewall problem

Is this tyre going to fail on me? This line goes all the way around the tyre, both sides and on both front and rear tyres. The tyres are about 400miles old, bought in May and show no other wear

They're shyyyyyyt.

MIne did that after 100 miles, so did loads of other peoples. Its a well known fault in them because they are shyyyyyyyyyyt.

Take them off, send it back, get your money back, never buy them again. CRC were excellent when this happened to mine.

Buy some Mich Pro Race 3s or 4s in teh sale at Ribble.

Seriously, they are shyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyt. And very expensive. I can buy cheap shyyyyyyyyt if I want to buy shyyyyyyyyyyt.

Mine did the same, sent them back to schwalbe uk and got sent a set of ZX's in return.

Sent back to Planet X, new ones have come back, hope they don't do that again

I had this happen to an all red set of ultemo zx, front and rear, contacted the UK supplier and they took my worn set and sent out a replacement pair by return of post with 2 free tubes! (red and black os no red only in stock).

excellent customer service, if only all suppliers could be as open and helpfull!

I've had this happen on a pair of Stelvio tyres. 1500 miles later they're still fine...

Not sure I'll get them again though.
