Surrey Hills Area?

I was planning on heading to Swinley for a couple of sessions this week but having seen that some of the trails are closed I reckon this could be the ideal time to have a look elsewhere in the Surrey Hills area.
I was around Leith Hill last week and it was pretty good so I'm looking for something like that.
Has anyone got any good suggestions and preferably some advice as to where the trails are?

Have a look in London Calling. Regular rides in the Surrey Hills.
Hard to say where the tyrails are as it's a big area - go down the fireroad and look for the trail at the tree kind of thing.I don't do smileys.

Pretty much the same as I did with Swinley until I found this place too
I had a run out to Swinley this morning and it's not too bad, Sticker and part of Seagull are closed along with the end section of Tank Traps but otherwise it's ok.
I might try and head back to Leith Hill and see what other trails are about there that I missed last time!0 -
Start out in Peaslake instead and head up the trail from Walking Bottom carpark to Pitch Hill instead. Lots of interlinked singletrack at the top. Or head off to the right from the smaller carpark halfway up and you'll get to Winterfold.
Just keep an eye out fro the tree to turn off at - the big one.I don't do smileys.

Cheers, I might give that a try as well.0 -
Leith hill trails are fairly natural looking and its less busy than say holmbury. I used to prefer Leith to holmbury, but lately because its been dry I have been heading to holmbury. I just want to ride the trails as much as possible before the winter mud sets in.
Its a 10 mile ride for me to get there cross country with a couple of trails connecting along the way, so I normally do a couple of laps of the holmbury highlights loop and then head over to leith hill or home depending on how much time I have.
See: Holmbury Highlights on here:

I think it's one of the conditions of the Hurtwood Control that the trails aren't signposted or mapped
But if you go to openstreetmap it has a couple of the very well known trails marked on it in blue.0 -
except they are and there is nothing they can do to stop anyone mapping them.0
