Do you want a 20mm Maxle or a 15mm Maxle, Reba for former, SID for latter - I think the Reba is ever so slightly heavier and stiffer than the SID - to an amateur rider like you or me, I don't think there is any difference....I went SID cos I think 15mm axles will become the standard....

Go for the reba, I believe the Ti has the better damper.

Sadly I have no experience with the SIDs so i'm not going to be able to give a comparative view. However I do have Rebas that were fitted as standard to my Cube ltd and my opinion of them is excellent if that is any help.

+1 Black Box damping all the way.

Reba RLT Ti is the best fork I have ever used. The compression damping is superb, really controls the travel.

The Reba RLT TI are on the bike now as the post man from Merlin's
dropped them off for me today and i must say what a fork (look great)

But how do you set them up properly????? I'm a big lad and at 16-17 stone
(i'm a 6ft 2in scaffolder not a fatty) not the lightest pee in the pod
they seem to have no travel (not on lockout) maybe a bit soft or not the
right amount of air in them.

Also what should have been in the box??? As there was no proper rockshox
box , no Reba manual , no shox pump , no pop lock and no replacement stickers.

Help on setting them up proper please for my height and weight.

    Thanks.

    Oh dear.

We cant advise you on what psi and level of adjustments they should be set at its not as simple as your weight is X, thats down to yourself simply pumping them up measuring the sag to around 25-30% and then the rest of the adjustments is just trial and error, testing it out on the trails and adjusting as you go till they feel right.

Discounted forks so you don't get all the bits & pieces you would do with the full price product - got this info from a Merlin sales guy. Not sure why you'd need/want replacement stickers but a manual wouldn't go a miss!
