Cutgate at its driest ever

Anyone planning to do Cutgate should do it this week before the weather breaks, driest and fastest i've ever known at the moment.
Did it today, Good times :)
You only get one shot .........so make it a double !

    I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, weathers gonna break soon but you should be ok as long as we dont get a few days of downpours :wink:

    April was an early summer for Cutgate, but i missed out cos of work.
    The peatbog nr the summit is like a desert at the moment !!!

    Was up there yesterday, still dry and super fast down to langsett, descent on the south side hampered by gales ( not tilsley )
    Should just about be ok for the weekend, check the mountain forecast for better updates,

    They got a good soaking last weekend and at the beginning of this week.
    The forecast is looking good for this weekend though, bit cooler but no rain forecast at the moment. :)

    We had that 10 days of awesome weather and I had the friday planned off to do Cutgate, but it typically shit down on thursday and it was pretty wet on top. great fun though. 1st time up there.
    It's better to burn out than to fade away!!
