Crowthorn Woods

Does anyone know of any good tracks in Crowthorn woods, I ride a lot in Swinley but don't really venture over to Crothorn woods much. As some of the Swinley tracks are closed next week I thought it could be a good time to explore.

    I've not done the main bit of Crowthorne woods, i.e. under the underpass and other side of the road. I gather there are little bits and pieces there but not sure it's much singletrack. The bit between pip's seat and the road I think is also Crowthorne and there are things like Corkscrew round there which is of passable interest, and odd bits of little singletrack scattered all over the place. Mostly very short sections.

    There's also the MOD area over the fence to the south and plenty of plain XC stuff there. Not singletrack but cruising stuff.

    Or, if you've never done it, have an explore around Tunnel Hill a little further south of Swinley (Mytchett/Frimley/Deepcut way). Though very easy to get lost in there and go around for ages and miss things but there are some gems in there.

    Lot of replanting going on in crowthorne woods after the fire at the mo.
