Help needed on Giro Xar Helmet strap adjustment

Any one got a Giro Xar? Got a new Giro and need to equalise the straps .Booklet says you can pull straps through of the helmet but its not shifting.Anyone able to carry out the adjustment on theirs? Cheers.
