Hi

I am looking for a saddle bag which will be able to hold a spare inner tube, small multi tool etc. Seems to be so many to choose from so would appreciate any recommendations :)

Thanks
Sarah

I have one of those and think it looks great unlike alot of the others. Matches my bike colour scheme atleast. Plus holds levers/Multitool/tubes, the bare essentials.
  • I love my Knog Saddle Dog - very good looking and practical!
  • +1 for the Ultura. Medium was big enough. You shouldn't need anything bigger unless you're going camping!

Topeak Aero in medium for me. Takes 2 tubes, CO2 cartridge, puncture repair kit, Hexus multitool and could get a bit more in if I unzipped the expander section

I have a Lezyne one which works well, the Topeak wedge ones look pretty good to me to. Basically avoid something to wide as if it sticks out past the saddle then your legs will probably rub on it and even if you can't feel it it will wear a whole in your shorts...

These are good - no velco and no attachment to the seat pillar so minimal faff to remove.

+1 on Topeak Wedge. Mine holds 1 tube, pump, levers & puncture kit, torque wrench & bits and pocket rocket w/proof. Also provides mount for Smart rear LED.

Jeez that's without tools and it's 20 quid. More vfm with something like this:

    Cannot praise Lezyne highly enough.

Well thought out and best of all it's secure.

After loosing my saddle bag last week and it costing £40 to replace the bag and contents I realise a single velcro strap is a shite idea.
  • Thanks for all the replies, have decided to go with the Altura Speed Medium one, under £14 at Evans :) The white and black should match my new road bike quite nicely.
