It just feels like a really rubbish version of riding my road bike, cant take it offroad. I'm looking for a MTB - SS but with provision for gear hanger and cable routing (in case I change my mind) rack mounting points, rigid or lockable forks. Any ideas?

  • Why can't you take it offroad?

MTB SS - have a think about On-One Pompino/Pompetamine. To be honest, at £129 for the Pompino frame, I'd suggest just foing for that and not worrying about whether it'd be OK for gears as well.

The Inbred can be run geared or SS as well, according to colleague who has one.
